Student Trips

At TASOK, learning extends beyond the classroom. Through local excursions, cultural explorations, and international travel opportunities, our students engage with the world around them—growing as learners, leaders, and global citizens.Student trips are more than just travel—they’re opportunities to cultivate independence and responsibility, practice cultural humility and empathy, represent TASOK’s values of Excellence, Integrity, and Inclusivity, and form lasting memories with classmates and mentors.

Local Field Trips
Each year, students across grade levels participate in thoughtfully planned field trips that connect with classroom learning. Trips are integrated into units of inquiry or curriculum themes and range from museum visits and ecological tours to service learning and community exploration.
Regional and International Travel Opportunities

Model United Nations (MUN)
In Secondary School, students travel outside of Kinshasa—and even internationally—to participate in MUN conferences during the second half of the year. In the first semester, they host KINMUN right here at TASOK, welcoming delegates from schools across the region. These events foster leadership, research, and global awareness.

ISTA (International Schools Theatre Association)
Creative expression comes alive through ISTA, where students collaborate with international peers in theatre festivals and workshops. TASOK students travel to host schools in the region, working with professional artists and exploring new forms of storytelling.

SAISA (Southern African International Schools Association)
Athletes from TASOK proudly represent our school in the SAISA league. Students travel for tournaments in sports like soccer, basketball, swimming, and volleyball, competing with integrity and school spirit while building lifelong friendships.
