Community

At The American School of Kinshasa (TASOK), community is more than just a word—it is the heart of who we are. Nestled within a vibrant 42-acre campus in the heart of Kinshasa, our school is a living, learning village where every voice matters and every member belongs.

A Community Rooted in Shared Values
At TASOK, our values—Excellence, Integrity, and Inclusivity—guide how we learn and grow together. These shared principles create a respectful and empowering environment where every member of our community feels valued and appreciated.

More Than a School—A Place to Belong
TASOK welcomes families into a vibrant, inclusive environment. From school events to everyday moments, parents play a vital role in community life. With over 40 nationalities represented, we celebrate diversity and build lasting connections.

A Lifelong Community
TASOK remains a part of your journey—long after graduation. Alumni, former staff, and families stay connected, mentoring future Condors and carrying the TASOK spirit into communities around the world.

You Belong Here
At TASOK, every voice matters. Whether you’re new or returning, you’ll find a welcoming, inclusive community where your presence is valued and your story becomes part of ours.

Get Involved at TASOK! There are many ways to make a difference in our community—volunteer at school events, serve on the Board or represent families through the PTC. However you choose to contribute, your involvement is valued and appreciated!
