Elementary School Library
The Elementary School Library is a welcoming space where young learners explore the world through stories, research, and discovery. With thousands of books in English, French, and Spanish—including picture books, early readers, nonfiction, and graphic novels—students are supported in building literacy and curiosity. Regular read-alouds, themed displays, and book talks enrich the reading experience. The library also supports classroom learning with resources aligned to PYP units, helping students connect their reading with classroom inquiry and develop lifelong reading habits.
Secondary School Library
The Secondary School Library is a dynamic learning hub that supports research, independent study, and personal reading for MYP and DP students. The collection includes fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels, and academic resources in English, French, and Spanish. Students have access to online databases, SAT/AP prep materials, and IB-aligned texts. Designed for both quiet study and collaboration, the space fosters academic integrity, inquiry, and information literacy. Regular workshops and curated resources help students grow as thoughtful, capable researchers and reflective global citizens.

📖 Storytime Sessions
(PYP)
In this cross-divisional initiative, MYP and Grade 11 students recorded read-alouds of picture books for our youngest learners. With over 60 student volunteers, this joyful project celebrates literacy, leadership, and peer connection. These recordings are now available for families to enjoy at home or in class, helping build a strong reading culture that spans across the school.
Research & Citation Workshops (MYP/DP)
At TASOK, we build research skills from PYP through DP. Students learn how to ask strong questions, find reliable sources, and cite ethically using MLA. Through dedicated workshops, students explore academic honesty, responsible AI use, and the full research cycle. Our libraries provide hands-on support, guiding students as they grow into confident researchers and thoughtful writers.
✍️ Visiting Authors (All School)
Each year, TASOK invites a visiting author to inspire students across grade levels. These guests lead writing workshops, share personal stories, and explore the creative process behind published works. Students have the chance to ask questions, explore new genres, and discover the many exciting paths books can take. These visits enrich our literacy culture and spark new perspectives on writing, reading, and storytelling.
⏰ Library Hours
Elementary Library
- Open daily from 6:45 am – 3:15 pm and to 2:45pm on Wednesdays
- Students can visit during recess and after school any day.
Secondary Library
- Open daily from 6:45 am – 5:30 pm
- Stays open later to support homework, quiet study, and sibling supervision during sports or activities.
📘 Loan Limits by Grade
Elementary School
- Students may check out up to 3 books, plus 1 extra if it's in French (maximum 4). Books for Grade 4 & 5 book groups don’t count toward the limit.
Secondary School
- Students can check out as many books as needed to support reading, research, and IB coursework. Flexibility helps students learn with independence.

Our Academics
TASOK is a fully accredited IB World School, offering all three of the IB Programmes: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). The school year runs from August to June.
