Counseling

Students in a circle during counseling class

School counseling provides a safe and supportive space where children can explore their feelings, develop emotional skills, build resilience, and receive guidance through social, academic, and personal challenges—all grounded in a deep passion for children’s wellbeing and growth.

Elementary School Counseling

The Elementary School Counseling Program at TASOK focuses on helping young students develop the academic, social, and emotional skills they need to succeed in school and life. The Counselor works with children to build self-confidence, improve communication and problem-solving skills, and learn how to manage their emotions and behavior. They also help students develop positive relationships with peers and adults. Through individual sessions, group activities, and classroom lessons, the elementary school counselor support students as they grow and face new challenges. They also collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment.

Secondary School Counseling

The Secondary School Counseling Program is a comprehensive, student-centered initiative designed to support the academic, social-emotional, and post-secondary planning needs of students in Grades 7–12. Grounded in a culturally responsive and inclusive approach, the program fosters a safe, empathetic, and developmentally appropriate environment where all students can thrive and feel valued. The counselor supports students in areas such as emotional well-being, academic planning, and healthy relationships, while also guiding them through college and career exploration. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff ensures a consistent and supportive learning environment for all learners.
