The TASOK Board Policy Manual serves as a comprehensive guide for governance, detailing the policies, procedures, and expectations that direct the Board’s actions and decisions. It ensures consistency, transparency, and accountability in all aspects of our school’s governance. TASOK Board Policy Manual

TASOK’s Board has three key standing committees—Finance, Strategic Planning, and Trustee—that play a crucial role in shaping the school’s future and ensuring strong governance. The Finance Committee oversees the school’s finances, recommends the annual budget, and develops a five-year financial plan. The Strategic Planning Committee works closely with Finance to create a rolling five-year strategic plan to support the school’s mission and long-term goals. The Trustee Committee focuses on ensuring board continuity and good governance practices. To further support these committees, task forces may be formed to address short-term projects, drawing on the expertise of community members and external advisors. Task force volunteers are selected based on skills and experience and are subject to Board approval. Once completed, task force findings are reviewed by the relevant committee and presented to the full Board for final decisions.

TASOK’s Whistleblower Policy provides a safe and confidential channel for reporting concerns related to unethical behavior, violations of policies, or misconduct. It encourages transparency and accountability within the school community, ensuring that all reports are handled with respect and seriousness. The policy protects individuals from retaliation, fostering an environment where integrity and ethical standards are upheld.
