Middle School

Middle School strives to provide a comprehensive program to meet the needs of our 6th – 8th graders, who are in the process of transition from children to young adults. Special attention is focused on meeting social, emotional and physical needs, as well as their academic development. The TASOK program aims to provide an environment within which students can explore, set limits and develop personal relationships, together with a nurturing faculty who are aware of their unique needs during this stage of their development. It is designed to be a bridge between the elementary years and high school. The core academic classes in the middle years are Language Arts, Social Studies, Math and Science. In addition, middle school students take French and Physical Education year round, and they also take a quarter each of Art, Music, Computers and Health. Opportunities to explore other areas are offered within the framework of the exploratory program. After school activities are offered to students from Grades 6 - 8 from Monday through Thursday for each semester, from 14h30 to 15h30. After School Activities may include, but is not limited to sports, arts and crafts, academic support, drama, chess club, swimming, soccer, student council and more.

Activities are hosted by teachers, so they tend to differ from semester to semester.
