TASOK 50th Anniversary Celebration!

TASOK began offering a US education in Kinshasa in 1961, which means that in 2011 TASOK celebrates 50 years of offering a high quality American education to English speaking students in the Congo. A main focus of the celebration is an effort to invite as many alumni as possible to gather right here on the TASOK campus for Graduation on June 8, 2011 at 6:30 pm.

There will be on campus events for alumni during that Graduation Week, culminating in a Gala Dinner Dance celebrating 50 years of TASOK pride on Saturday, June 11 starting at 7:00 pm in the huge new TASOK Tent on our upper soccer field.

TASOK is working with local alums to secure accommodation in town and most folks on campus want to open their homes, their gardens and all space we can find.

We are seeking a small, motivated cadre of alumni to help us boost email communication and create master email lists.
