Varsity Basketball Program:

Core values:
The basketball team is an opportunity to participate in a team sport which fosters the values of co-operation, self discipline, team building, strategic planning and reflection.
Students are made aware that practice, with its focus on skill’s development and individual fitness is a key element in nurturing a successful team. Practice sessions are held twice a week during the first two trimesters.

Games
In preparation for events outside the DRC games are organized against local schools and clubs in Kinshasa. The main competitive event for the basketball team is an international tournament that takes place at the American International School of Johannesburg. This is a round robin event which draws teams from international schools all around Africa.       

TASOK also runs a girls basketball program which it's hoping to expand next season to include an international competitive event.
